Pillowcases:

Looking for a way to use your time, talents and fabric for a worthy cause?  This a  great Stash Buster
!

Help make hospital stays as pleasant as possible for children up to 18 years of age.

Make a standard size, cheerful pillowcase for the Children's Hospital at Geisinger Medical Center.

 It can have a positive impact on a child in need.

Pillowcase Instructions:


Supplies:
3/4 yard fabric for the body
                  1/3 yard fabric for the border

Instructions:
  1. Cut body of the case 27 inches x 40 inches.
  2. Cut border 9 inches x 40 inches.
  3. Fold border in half lengthwise with the wrong sides together. Press.
  4. Place the right side of the border on the right side of the body. Both pieces are Right sides up.
  5. Stitch these together using a half inch seam.
  6. Place right sides together and stitch down sides and bottom. OR create a French seam.
  7. Turn right side out. Press
  8. Drop it off at Rose of Sharin and we will make sure they get to the hospital.

These adorable teddy bears and their beds are for infants and toddlers.
Quick and easy kits and or patterns are available at the shop.

We are making these for:


Children's Hospital at Geisinger Medical Center
Drop them off at the shop and we will deliver them.                                     
Help fill the shop bed basket with donations.
                                                                   
Our goal is 150 Ted in Beds.
